Members of the community residing in the Vaitele industrial zone and neighboring villages will no longer need to scurry into the town area to take advantage of the specials and promotions that have become a trademark of Samoa Stationery and Books.
In less than 2 weeks on the 18th of January 2019, SSAB will be opening a branch at Vaitele, directly across the road from the Vailima Breweries.
This will be the 8th branch of SSAB since its establishment in Samoa 10 years ago.
In response to questions from Samoa Global, the President and owner of SSAB Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai said that the Vaitele branch will offer the full range of products and services to it’s customers.
“It will have a copy centre, stationeries, furniture, beds, educational products and much more,”
Samoa Stationery and Books have grown to employ over 160 staff across 8 branches in Upolu, Savaii, American Samoa and New Zealand. They are also the only stationery store that have taken their products to the remote islands of Tokelau.
“There will be at least six staff members to be working at Vaitele,” confirmed Tofilau who has often shared about the value of people in business success and how the staff at SSAB are like family.
As a woman who openly speaks of her faith in God, Tofilau said that the Lord once again opened the doors for them to have the Vaitele branch when she was approached by the owner of the new building location, Faasootauloa Taulapapa Pati.
“The landlord Fa’aso’otauloa Pati gave us the opportunity and it made sense for us to set up in that area as people have been asking us to have a shop there,” she said.
“We are excited to be able to expand our service to the people around Vaitele and other villages beyond Vaitele.”
