At the launch of the Nofotane Project held last Friday, the Chief Executive Officer of SSAB, Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai brought with her a surprise donation of brand new computers valued at $4,500 for the Children of SVSG.
The donation was in response to a request received a week earlier, from SVSG, for computers to enhance the learning and education of the children living at the Campus of Hope.
The donation was well received by the Chairperson of the SVSG board on behalf of the SVSG Group. Ms Georgina Lui expressed her gratitude for the SSAB’s endless support for the group.
This donation is an addition to SSAB’s history of its ongoing support to promote literacy and education in Samoa. SSAB has always been at the forefront of publicising the significance of Literacy and Education.
“Education is dear to me because of its importance to our Children’s lives. I always try and help when it comes to projects pertaining to the promotion of Literacy and enhancing educational opportunities for the children of Samoa” says CEO Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai.
Tofilau extends an invitation to the general public, business partners, Samoans across the globe and the business community to help by donating more computers to this great cause.
Confirmed by CEO Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai, SSAB will widely publicise on its Facebook page with more than 80k followers the request for computer donations from its customers and partners.
