SSAB Celebrates Opening of New Vaitele Superstore

Samoa Stationery and Books well known to all Samoans as SSAB, celebrated the opening of their new Vaitele Superstore this week.

The new Vaitele superstore makes it the sixth branch of SSAB in the country. SSAB has ventured internationally and also has branches in New Zealand and American Samoa.

SSAB Education Manager, Silimana’i Viali Williams, says the new SSAB Superstore replaces the smaller outlet that had been at Vaitele.

“That location posed safety concerns for our SSAB customers,” said Williams, “being right off the main road, along the busiest part of the Vaitele-Faleolo straight.”

The SSAB Vaitele Superstore is located where the old Big Bear store used to be.

“This area is much more accessible and it also provides a safe parking area for our customers.”

The expansion of services to the nation will see the addition of at least 10 more staff employed, to join the more than 200 that now makes up the SSAB family.

The woman behind SSAB’s continued success, Cheif Executive Officer and founder, Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai said that it was important for SSAB to be able to offer its services to customers in the Vaitele area.

“The opening of the new SSAB Superstore has allowed us to achieve this,” said Tofilau.

“We give back the honour and glory to God for His guidance and for making this all possible.”

The SSAB Vaitele Superstore will provide the full range of products and services that customers can find at the Apia branch.

SSAB has established itself as the fastest growing one-stop shop in Samoa for not just stationery and books, but has become the favourite stop for a wide range of electronics, furniture, homeware, school uniforms, and much much more.
