Happy Friday Saints.
As we saw yesterday, “THE MOUTH OF THE RIGHTEOUS IS A FOUNTAIN OF LIFE.” (Proverbs 10:11)
One of the keys to making sure that your mouth is a fountain of life, is filling your heart with God’s Word.
Jesus said in Matthew 12:34 that “THE MOUTH SPEAKS WHAT THE HEART IS FULL OF.”
You can tell what your heart is full of by what comes out of your mouth. And if you don’t take the time to read and meditate on God’s Word, it won’t overflow out of your mouth and breathe life into your circumstances.
Proverbs 16:23 says that “THE HEART OF A WISE PERSON INSTRUCTS HIS MOUTH; IT ADDS LEARNING TO HIS SPEECH.”
Who or what instructs your mouth? Every time you’re faced with a problem you can choose to speak life from the wisdom that is stored up in your heart. No matter how things look on the outside, you can turn things around from the fruit of your lips and look forward to a favourable outcome. (Proverbs 13:2)
James 3:4 tells us that the tongue is like a small rudder of a large ship. Like a rudder that steers the ship, your tongue will decide the direction and the course of your life.
Challenges, like storms, come and go but at the end of the day – you decide where your life is heading.
SPEAK LIFE over your circumstances and fill your world with GOOD THINGS. Speak God’s Word over yourself, your body, your marriage, your children, your family, your church, your job and your future. Fill your future with hope.
Have a great weekend. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
