Palauli College Girls Under 18 Ten-a-Side rugby team has been disqualified from playing the semi-finals of the National Championship following a successful protest by Safata College.

Palauli beat Safata 17-10 in the quarter finals on Wednesday, but will not be playing the semi final tomorrow. The details of the protest are not clear.

Instead Safata will play Aana 2 College in the semi final.

Aana 2 beat first timers Itu-o-Tane to make the semis.

The other semi final for Girls Under 18 will be between Palauli-i-Sisifo and Leulumoega Fou.

There are no changes to the boys’ finals despite formal complaints lodged against Leifiifi Under 14 and Nuuausala Under 18.

Public posts about NASCO’s No.8 on social media have been confirmed as unsubstantiated and incorrect.
