Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God

Happy Friday Saints.

As we saw yesterday, we must seek God’s will above all else.

As Christians, the most important thing in our lives should be the will of God. But instead of seeking God’s will first, many make their own decisions according to their own will and expect God to bless THEIR OWN plans.

In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught His disciples to pray “YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.”

Part of our Christian maturity is learning that our lives are not our own. That we belong to God who did the impossible through Christ who saved us and reconciled us to Himself.

In the parable of the lost sheep, the shepherd found the wandering sheep. He didn’t follow the sheep and let it determine its own course. He brought it back to the rest of the flock so that he could lead the sheep to greener pastures.

Be honest with yourself. Who is leading whom? Do you pray that THE LORD’S WILL be done in your life as it is in heaven? Are you following the Good Shepherd’s leading or do you expect Him to follow after you?

Let an Omnipotent and Omniscient God, lead you, guide you, and help you live an extraordinary life. His will and His ways are always best.

Have an awesome weekend. God bless and lots’a love,
