06 April 2019, Apia Samoa. The PPS Super 9 national rugby championship kicked off today at different venues across Samoa.
At the Don Bosco field at Salelologa, the Savaii Vikings hosted the BSP Southern Tornadoes from Falealili and Siumu. The Big Island team outclassed their visitors with cricket score wins for both the Under 20s and Senior A sides.
Under 20s:
Savaii Vikings Under 20s led 17-0 at half time and went on to win 41-5 over the BSP Southern Tornadoes.

For the Roger Warren Coached Senior As, the match looked to be close at half time with Vikings leading by 15 to 7.
But the Vikings came back in the second half to win by a whopping 58 -15, their Mahonri Schwalger coached scrummaging too solid for the developing Falealili-Siumu side who fielded a squad of players who all lived in the district.
