05 February 2019, Wellington New Zealand. Thousands of fans in Samoa and across the Pacific will be wishing their favorite comedian Faletagoa’i Tofiga Fepuleai a Happy Birthday today.
But doubt seems to be cast over exactly how old the father of 3 is today – after a post by his business partner and wife Bessie this morning, wishing him a Happy 50th Birthday!
When approached by Samoa Global News Bessie Fepuleai revealed that her husband is in fact, not 50 today 🙂.
“When it was my birthday last year he told everyone I was 50 so I’m just paying him back😂😂”
“People kept wishing me a Happy 50th and it seemed to last the entire month of October 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️”
The couple who are in the business of making people laugh, seem to be pranking each other.
Tofiga has a big year ahead of him and will soon launch his new comedy show “Sorry bout it” which hopes to feature the polular characters of Aunty Tala, Uncle Sam and Suavai-o-le-Alofa.
Tofiga posts, “Hope you’re ready NZ, Australia and U.S.A. Coming Soon to a venue near you.”
Tofiga and Bessie Fepuleai, both not yet 50 despite pranking each other on social media, embarked on a health and fitness journey 3 months ago with the F45 Training Wellington East group. The couple have taken fans along the journey by posting hilariously realistic vidoes to share their experience after each session.
“Today was a killer but all for the better. It’s been about 3 months with our F45 Training Wellington East family and my training partner and I are feeling the benefits. “Never give up and surround yourself with good people. Married for 14 years, Tofiga and Bessie are an inspirational couple who banter only in public with Tofiga always referring to Bessie as his “best friend” and more recently his “training partner”.
Bessie confirms to Samoa Global, “14 years married and 28 years together 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ What was I thinking? 😂😂😂😂”
