The public health ministry has cautioned Samoa to “avoid gossip” in its latest coronavirus update this morning.
A rumour had surfaced Saturday morning that, “a palagi at Motootua hospital was suspected of coronavirus”.
In a post on its facebook page the Ministry of Health confirms that, “Today 14/03/2020, the are still NO SUSPECT NOR CONFIRMED CASES of COVID-19 in Samoa”.
“Keep calm, wash your hands, and AVOID GOSSIP”, reads the cautionary advice.
