
#OnNow The second round of the Vodafone National Rugby Sevens will see Vaiala Ulalei face Aleipata’s Tepatasi.
It was not an easy road to the finals for both teams.
Vaiala played a tough semi-final against Round 1 and 60th Independence champions, Tama Uli from Salelologa. Vaiala defeated Tama Uli 26-14. In the quarter-finals Vaiala edged out Apia Maroons by 19-7.
Vaiala is still being led by veteran Alatasi Tupou with David Tavita looking sharp and Malu Falaniko looking to be making a comeback.
Malo Luteru is back from Manu Samoa 7s duties and is playing for his club.
The ever reliable Fuli Faafouina continues to play with heart and consistency for Vaiala.
The one to watch for the Vaiala side is 19 year old Tafili.

Tepatasi played a tough quarter final against Marist St Josephs Club’s second team, Marist Angels, defeating them 17-10.
In the semi final Tepatasi came up against Laulii Lions and defeated them 19-12.
Faafoi Falaniko is leading the charge for Tepatasi. Eletise Ese is on fire for Tepa and power forward and captain Iafeta Laau is using his strength to give his speedsters space.
Youngster Pelasio Viliamu has had a fantastic tournament and is the one to watch for Tepatasi.
