Fuel prices in Samoa are set to increase, effective today 1 November 2023.
As announced by the Ministry of Finance, the price of Diesel increases by 14.5sene to per litre, from $3.68 to $3.83.
Petrol is up by 8.4sene, from $3.43 to $3.52/litre, and Kerosene increases by 17.8sene, from $3.29 to $3.47/litre.
The Ministry of Finance states that factors contributing to increase are due to the rising of Market Operating Prices (MOPs) in Singapore, increasing freight costs and “a weakening SAT/US$ which has resulted in higher landed costs.”
