Samoa first declared State of Emergency for the global Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020 with 30-day extensions being announced each month by proclamation of the Head of State.
The latest extention runs from today, Monday 6th June 2022 until Monday 4th July 2022.
Samoa has recently announced the opening of its borders on 01st August 2022. It is currently also on Alert Level 1 with business hours returned to normal from Monday to Sunday for the first time in two years.
