02 September 2019, Apia Samoa. The 29th Annual Teuila Festival themed Beautiful Samoa is underway.
The week long annual event promises to be an exciting week full of fun activities including Siva Samoa Dance Competition, Variety Show, Teuila Concert, Choral Exhibition, Miss Faafafine, Miss Samoa Pageant are just some of the activities.
The Teuila Festival Opening Parade held yesterday evening was led by the Royal Samoa Police Band followed by all those involved in various competitions throughout the week.
The Teuila festival showcases Samoa’s cultural activities, choral exhibition, traditional siva Samoa dance competitions, fire knife dancing, variety shows, music concert, umu (Samoan ground oven) demonstration and tasting, tattooing and carving demonstrations, Floral float parade and much more.
