Samoa Airways passengers can now enjoy additional premium services out of Apia with the newly launched Faleolo Airport Lounge.
The national airline signed an exclusive agreement with the recently launched premium lounge and although the services are inclusive for business class seat purchases with Samoa Airways, all other Samoa Airways passengers can access the Lounge for an extra one-off fee.
Samoa Airways CEO Seiuli Alvin Tuala says this new service will enhance customer experience and raise the quality of the airline’s service out of Samoa.
“We continue to look at improving our service to our customers, and this is one way to meet that. We want to ensure our customers get a proper Samoa Airways experience whenever they choose to fly us,”
The Faleolo Airport Lounge offers a warm and comfortable environment for business class travellers to enjoy extra comfort.
Passengers will appreciate access to private restrooms and shower facilities and be able to freshen up before boarding.
The locally owned and operated premium lounge also features a unique “Samoan Snack Corner” where passengers can get their last fix of favourite bites to eat before departure.
Among the delectable Samoan-origin snacks are an array taro, banana and ulu chips available as well as the popular Chinese inspired keke saiga.
For extra comfort and leisure, the Faleolo Airport Lounge is equipped with Sky Cable and Moana T.V so that business class travellers can kick back and relax back into the oversized modern sofas provided and catch up on the news or stay connected with complimentary and unlimited Wi-Fi.
There’s something for everyone in the Lounge and if customers prefer to switch off, they can make themselves at home in the quiet reading corner furnished with a collection of books and magazines.
Passengers need not worry about missing their flight as the Lounge is equipped with digital T.V screens and speakers to keep you updated on departure times and any airport announcements.
Faleolo Airport Lounge is a public private partnership in that it is owned and operated by the creators of LokoStyles Fashion who have served Faleolo with retail stores over many decades. They saw an opportunity to compliment the new and improved Faleolo International Airport by offering a VIP lounge service.
Co-owner of Lokostyles, Clayton Simamao said they were keen to enter into a partnership with Samoa Airways, wanting to give their nation’s carrier first priority over other airlines,
“We wanted to stay in line with the island corporate theme which means offering our unique Samoan tradition of hospitality at a premium level” Said Mr Simamao
The first-class services provided are inclusive of any business class seat purchase with Samoa Airways. Mr Simamao added that all other Samoa Airways passengers can also access the Lounge for an extra one-off fee.
