Samoa Airways has announced a scheduled repatriation flight for Samoan nationals and cargo from Pago Pago, American Samoa next week Wednesday 31st March 2021.

Depart: Pago Pago on Wednesday 31 Mar 2021- 2:15PM
Arrive: Faleolo on Thursday 1st April 2021- 4:00PM
The announcement by Samoa Airways is in line with the latest amendments to Samoa’s State of Emergency Orders where both local airlines were given the opportunity to make arrangements for repatriation flights within conditions set out by the National Emergency Operations Centre.
As publicised by the airline on their social media pages, “All passengers will require both a medical clearance, as well as a negative COVID-19 test, issued 48 hrs prior to departure.
Many Samoans living and working in American Samoa have been waiting for this opportunity to come home. It was not clear from the Samoa Airways announcement how many passengers would be repatriated on this single flight.
American Samoa has been rolling out their vaccination program for over 2 months now, and almost half the 55,000 population have been covered.
