Do you ever get discouraged? I think that we all FEEL it now and then. But it’s important to remember that that’s all it is, just a FEELING. It doesn’t mean that things are over or that your circumstances can’t change or improve. Discouragement doesn’t have to be final. It doesn’t have to cause irreparable damage to what you’re trying to achieve. It doesn’t have to result in quitting.
Sometimes, not giving up and hanging in there, is a victory in itself. Sometimes it’s good to stay put until the storm passes. Challenging times don’t last forever. But with God’s grace, you can stand still long enough to see the sun rise on a new day.
Romans 12:12 says to “LET YOUR HOPE KEEP YOU JOYFUL, BE PATIENT IN YOUR TROUBLES, AND PRAY AT ALL TIMES.”
