Happy Friday Saints.
Yesterday, we ended with the thought of getting connected to the TRUE VINE so that God’s life, love, and power, can channel through you and onto everything else.
In John 15:5 Jesus said “I AM THE VINE, YOU ARE THE BRANCHES. IF YOU REMAIN IN ME AND I IN YOU, YOU WILL BEAR MUCH FRUIT; APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING.”
Many Christians live their lives as though they can do everything without Christ.
We make our own decisions, go wherever we want to go, do whatever we want to do, have whatever we want to have and be whatever we want to be. For people who belong to God, we do a lot WITHOUT HIM.
Being unable to do anything without Him doesn’t make us weaklings, it makes us Christ-like. Even Jesus did nothing without the Father.
Referring to Himself, Jesus said in John 5:19, “THE SON CAN DO NOTHING BY HIMSELF. HE DOES ONLY WHAT HE SEES THE FATHER DOING.”
Jesus always did what His Father wanted Him to do, and as we saw yesterday, if we want to live wisely, we must understand WHAT THE LORD’S WILL IS too, and do it!
Thankfully, we have the Bible and the Holy Spirit to LEAD US AND GUIDE US INTO ALL TRUTH.
The Bible is the revealed will of God. And with His Spirit of wisdom and revelation, we can be filled with the knowledge of His will. We can live our lives in a way that is fully pleasing to Him.
We can know His higher thoughts and walk in His higher ways and experience life at its absolute best in every area.
So tap in. Tap into the true vine and be like Jesus. Do nothing without God and let everything you set your hand to, be blessed!
