Happy Wednesday Saints.

Romans 12:15 “REJOICE WITH THOSE WHO REJOICE.”

Self-centred people can’t rejoice with others who rejoice. They’ll sabotage someone else’s good news by drawing attention to their own difficulties.

Real friends can rejoice with you and celebrate your victories. They’ll let you have your moment without taking anything away from your celebration.

As important as it is to be there for people when they’re struggling, we must also learn to show our love and support for others when they’re rejoicing.

When you are genuinely happy for others it strengthens your relationship. Your sincerity encourages them to keep pressing forward and to fight the good fight. Their victory will also inspire you to stay positive and believe for good things too.

When you acknowledge others’ reasons for rejoicing and celebrate with them – you overcome envy, jealousy, and selfishness. These negative traits prevent many of God’s people from reaching their full potential.

Covid-19 has left many with little to celebrate but focusing on the negative and stewing over everything that we are lacking will only make the weight of our troubles unendurable.

The next time someone shares some good news with you, dance on the mountaintop with them. Let their good report and their rejoicing feed your faith and inspire you to fight the good fight. Share in their victory and be blessed. As you rejoice together, let your celebrations lift the weight off your troubles and give you a fresh perspective. Their mountaintop experience can help you see a clear path through the valley and enable you to overcome your own challenges.

Have an awesome day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
