Psalm 143:8 “LET THE MORNING BRING ME WORD OF YOUR UNFAILING LOVE, FOR I HAVE PUT MY TRUST IN YOU. SHOW ME THE WAY I SHOULD GO, FOR TO YOU I ENTRUST MY LIFE.”
What’s the first thing that you want to hear in the morning?
For the Psalmist, it was to hear of God’s unfailing love.
Your first thoughts of the day often influence the course of the rest of the day. You can choose what to think about in the morning. If you wake up with gloomy, pessimistic thoughts, change your mind before the negativity starts to set in and ruin the rest of your day.
The Psalmist trusted God with his life. And with confidence in His unfailing love, he wanted God to direct his steps.
He wanted to align himself with God’s will and plan and before he did anything else, he wanted to be assured of God’s UNFAILING LOVE.
When you are confident of God’s love for you, you know that no matter what you face during the day, He is with you! And according to Romans 8:37, you are MORE THAN A CONQUEROR through Him who LOVES YOU.
What will you hear today? Choose wisely and be blessed.
Start the day off on the right note and let this be the beginning of a great week with the Lord.
