Proverbs 16:32

Happy Thursday Saints.

Are you the kind of person who’ll let your day determine your mood and your attitude, or do you decide what kind of a mood you will be in and what kind of an attitude you will have?

Proverbs 16:32
“PATIENCE IS BETTER THAN POWER, AND CONTROLLING ONE’S EMOTIONS, THAN CAPTURING A CITY.”

Like the Greek word ‘hegeomai’ that we looked at yesterday, the Hebrew word for ‘controlling’ which is ‘mashal,’ also means ‘TO RULE.’ It means to have dominion and to reign. Proverbs 16:32 is telling us that it’s better to rule and reign over ourselves than to capture and control a whole city. Self governance is more important than being in charge of others. Lead yourself first. Govern your emotions and decide to have an awesome attitude today.

God bless and lots’a love,
Warren.
