I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Phil 4:13
We all go through difficult times in life. But our loving Father God assures us that we can and will overcome ALL of life’s challenges because we are his righteous children in Christ.
Without enduring, we cannot overcome. And with CHRIST, we can endure and overcome anything life throws at us.
James reminds us to embrace our trials as a wonderful opportunity to grow and build up our characters, and come through the experience stronger, and better equipped to do great things and live a purpose-filled life.
James 1:2-4 NIV “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
We are encouraged by Paul’s letter to the Ephesians to remain strong and remember that we serve a powerful, mighty God. And we are reminded that with endurance, we can overcome.
Eph 6:10 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
Eph 6:113 “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand [ENDURE] in the evil day, and having done all, to stand [OVERCOME].”
We can overcome ALL things through Christ who gives us strength. And ALL means ALL. So whatever you may be going through today, take a knee by the side of your bed, or my the side of your desk, or in your faleoo or outside in your garden – wherever you may be.
Come to Jesus and cast your worries upon Him. He will give you strength to endure whatever trials and challenges you may be going through today.
