One of the keys to living an extraordinary life is OBEDIENCE.
Our heroes in the Bible were regular people, JUST LIKE US. They all had to wrestle with the will of God and decide whether or not they were going to follow Him or their own desires.
Abraham OBEYED God. He left his family and his home without even knowing where God was taking him.
In Genesis 12, the Lord told him to leave his country and his family and he “DEPARTED AS THE LORD HAD SPOKEN TO HIM.” (vs 4)
It wouldn’t have been easy for Abraham to leave his home.
Sometimes we think that our Bible heroes had it easy but they rarely did. They were ordinary people who simply decided to TRUST and OBEY God.
If Abraham didn’t leave his home and family behind he wouldn’t have been abundantly blessed, he wouldn’t have become a great nation, and he wouldn’t have been able to be a blessing to all the people of the earth.
This ordinary man’s OBEDIENCE to God opened the door to an extraordinary life.
Obey the Lord as Abraham did and He can help you live a life that is far beyond the ordinary.
