Contributors to the Samoa National Provident Fund will receive an additinal 6% dividend for the financial year ended 30 June 2025, with 4% available as an option for members to be paid out in cash while 2% will be added to their contributions.

Caretaker Minister of Finance, Hon Lautimuia Uelese Afoa Vaai, made the announcement at a press conference this morning together with SNPF CEO Lemalu Selesitina Meni Reti.

Earlier this year in late January, SNPF had also announced a special dividend of 4% for contributing members of the Fund in time for back to school expenses for parents.

The January dividend, plus the 6% announced today makes a record 10% dividend for contributors for 2024/2025.

Lautimuia said the consistently high dividends declared for SNPF contributors is an indication of SNPF’s strong investment portfolio and diligent care of members’ superannuation funds.

Dividends in the past three years:

2023 – 8.3% with a total payout of $73 million

2024 – 9% with a total payout of $87.3 million

2025 – 10% with a total estimated payout of $112 million.

Effective midnight tonight – Tuesday 1st July – Contributors can opt to have their 4% paid out directly to their bank accounts. This can be applied through the online portal of SNPF www.npf.ws/login

Members log in with their username and passwords, and SNPF CEO Lemalu Selesitina reminded members to ensure they keep this information current to avoid delays.

Lemalu also urged members to ensure their nominated bank accounts are active, to avoid delays in the processing of their dividend payouts.
