Happy Monday Saints.
1Thessalonians 5:16-18 “REJOICE ALWAYS, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS FOR YOU.”
There are times when we don’t feel like rejoicing, or praying, or giving thanks. And yet this passage is telling us to do all three consistently.
The only way that we could possibly rejoice ALWAYS, is if our joy isn’t dependent upon our outward circumstances.
The situations and conditions around us are constantly changing and if our joy is connected to them, then our joy will fluctuate along with them.
If our joy is connected to another source, like the Source of all joy, then our relationship with God is what will enable us to REJOICE ALWAYS.
Let HIS JOY be your strength this week – not your circumstances. Trust the Lord and His promises. And let the joy of His presence and the hope from His Word fill your heart and give you reasons to REJOICE ALWAYS.
God bless and have a joyful week. No matter what may come your way, place your confidence in God.
Lots’a love,
Warren
