2 June 2023 Apia Samoa. Samoa Stationery and Books has partnered with Miss Samoa, Haylanni Kuruppu for her book launch scheduled for this Saturday 10am at Taumeasina Island Resort.
SSAB has coordinated multiple book launches and book signings for renowned Samoan authors over the years including books by former Head of State Tupua Tamasese Efi, as well as former Prime Minister and former Deputy Prime Minister of Samoa to name a few.
“Our CEO, Afioga Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai continues to provide the support for Samoan authors such as the reigning Miss Samoa, Haylanni Kuruppu.”
Miss Haylanni Kuruppu says she is inspired by the enthusiasm of SSAB’s CEO in promoting literacy in Samoa.
“I’ve always seen the support SSAB throws behind Samoan authors, and the passion Tofilau has for promoting books by local artists,” said Ms Kuruppu. “I’m excited to be in partnership with SSAB.”

Ms Kuruppu’s Children’s Book is a story about her journey to becoming Miss Samoa 2022/23.
Her books will be available at the various branches of Samoa Stationery and Books.
