Isaiah 9:6 “FOR TO US A CHILD IS BORN, TO US A SON IS GIVEN… AND HE WILL BE CALLED WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE.”
Jesus is our Prince of Peace. He came so that we could have peace with God.
Before we believe in Christ and get saved, none of us has peace with God. John 3:18 says that “WHOEVER DOES NOT BELIEVE IN GOD’S SON IS CONDEMNED.”
However, Romans 5:1 tells us that “WE HAVE PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.”
No-one can have peace with God without Jesus. His blood paid the penalty for our sins and removed anything that would condemn us before God.
It’s a peace that can only be experienced when we have been reconciled to God through Christ.
Sin no longer stands between you and God. You have peace with Him right now. You can also have a clear conscience in His presence knowing that ALL of your sins have been forgiven and you have been cleansed of ALL unrighteousness. Thank God for our PRINCE OF PEACE.
