Coach Matt Parish has named his side to take on the Fiji Bati in Pool B of the Oceania Cup this Saturday at Eden Park.
Notable selections are 19 year olds Ronaldo Mulitalo of the Cronulla Sharks and Tino Fa’asuamaleaui of the Melbourne storm.
Both players have recently switched allegiances to Samoa.
Just two weekends ago Mulitalo represented USA at the World Cup 9’s while Fa’asuamaleaui played for Australia in the Junior Kangaroos’ one-off test against France last week.
Both players will make their Toa Samoa debut in the 13-a-side game this weekend.
Danny Levi who switched allegiances from New Zealand to Samoa will also make his 13-a-side debut for Samoa having played for the Toa in the recent World Cup 9s.
Levi’s hooker experience with the Newcastle Knights will add speed to the Samoan attack.
Joseph Leilua and Luciano Leilua are set to become the first set of brothers to represent Samoa in the same match since the Winterstein Brothers in 2013.
