24 July 2019, Utulei American Samoa. The Samoa Prime Minister will arrive into American Samoa later today to support the fundraising efforts of the Manu Samoa.
Through Government to Government relations, a radiothon is being organised by the Office of the American Samoa Governor, to be held at the Suigaula Beach Park on Thursday 25th July 2019 from 6am to 4.30pm.
Member of Parliament and Associate Minister of Communications in Samoa, Leailepule Rimoni Aiafi arrived this morning with the President and Board Members of the Samoa Rugby Union.
They have been promoting the Radiothon at several radio stations since their arrival.
Member of the American Samoa Organising Committee for the event, Taupau Tauileave Toluono says their committee is led by the Governors Chief of Staff and that officers of the Treasury Depratment will be on hand to receive and receipt all donations.
Pledges can be made by calling 633-2144.
There are no vehicles to collect donations so all pledges have to be delivered to Suigaula Beach Park.
