Manu Samoa Head Coach Lemalu Tusi Pisi has made six changes to his squad for the Rugby World Cup qualifying final against Belgium.
Samoa are coming off the back of two impressive performances against Brazil and Namibia and will look to cement their place in the 2027 RWC in Australia when they take on Belgium on Wednesday morning.
Titi Lamositele and Michael Alaalatoa take over at prop in place of Scott Sio and and Tietie Tuimauga.
Millennium Sanerivi comes back into the starting side at hooker to complete the front row.
Ben Petaia Nee Nee gets promoted to start after coming off the bench last week. He will pair up with Captain Theodore McFarland in the second row.
Alamanda Motuga will make way for Niko Jones to start at openside flanker. Miracle Faiilagi and Iakopo Mapu keep their jerseys to complete the starting Back row.
Jonathan Taumateine and Rodney Iona will continue to be the game drivers at the half back and first five-eight position respectively.
Only one change in the starting backline as Melani Nanai comes back from a shoulder injury to play centre replacing Tumua Manu. Lalomilo Lalomilo will partner him in the midfield.
The outside backs trio remain unchanged and rightfully so as all three crossed the line for tries last weekend. Va’afauese Apelu Maliko, Latrell Ah Kiong and Jacob Umaga will look to continue their try scoring ways against Belgium.
Sama Malolo and Tietie Tuimauga are named on the bench alongside Scott Sio who made his debut for Samoa last week.
Taleni Seu and Abraham Papali’i will cover the lock/flanker position off the bench with Connor Tupa’i coming off the bench at halfback.
Faletoi Peni and Tuna Tuitama keep their roles as impact players covering all positions in the backline.
A win for Manu Samoa will guarantee them the final 2027 RWC spot held in Australia.
