A 68 year old man charged with indecent acts on two of his nieces had pleaded guilty to all charges against him.
During criminal mentions on Monday Justice Fepuleai Ameperosa Roma set 8 February 2021 for sentencing of the man who is currently out on bail.
According to the police summary of facts accepted by the accused, four separate incidents occurred between February and July this year.
The first incident of sexual connection with his 13 year old niece was by way of touching her genitalia. In a second incident on the same niece he indecently assaulted her by touching her breasts. In a third separate incident the accused kissed his 13 year old niece on the lips.
The last incident and this time, on the sister of the first victim, the 68 year old kissed the victim’s lips.
The names of both victims are suppressed and the Court has also granted name suppression to the accused, due to his close relationship with the victims.
The 68 year old is due to be sentenced on the 8th of February, 2021.
