The third accused in connection to the death of 24-year-old Jeremiah Malaki Tauiliili has appeared in the District Court.
Robert Ash of Vailima is represented by former Attorney General Aumua Ming Leung Wai and faces one charge of assault.
Appearing for the prosecution was Lupematasila Iliganoa Atoa.

During the proceedings Lupematasila made an application to the court for an adjournment to finalise charges against the defendant.
Defense counsel did not object to the application made by prosecution.
District Court Judge Fepuleai Ameperosa Roma adjourned the matter to the 29th of January, 2019 for prosecution to finalise charges.
Deputy Registrar of the Ministry of Justice and Courts Administration, Ve’atauia Fa’atasi Puleiata, has confirmed that Robert Ash was not a party to manslaughter which is the charge facing the other two defendants Herman Paul Westerlund and Suapaina Savaiinaea.
“There is a different element in the charges and that is why Ash was released while the other two are still in custody,” he said.
“Rob is facing assault, if he was charged with being party to manslaughter, I would not have granted his release.”
