  1. DO NOT LOSE HEART

Ephesians 3:13 “I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.”

Paul knew the Ephesians were tempted to feel discouraged by his suffering. From a human perspective, it looked like a setback—their apostle imprisoned, their leader unable to visit, teach, or encourage them face-to-face. But Paul saw his suffering through a different lens: God was using it for their good.

Instead of asking for pity, Paul urged them, “Don’t lose heart.” His imprisonment didn’t hinder the gospel—it advanced it. His chains didn’t silence his calling—they amplified it. What looked like defeat in the natural was being used by God in the spiritual.

We often face moments that tempt us to lose heart: trials, disappointments, unanswered prayers, and seasons of difficulty. But like Paul, we can trust that God is still at work behind the scenes. He wastes nothing. What feels heavy for a moment may produce glory in the end.

Paul’s perspective teaches us to look beyond our circumstances and see God’s purpose. Suffering in Christ is never pointless—it’s always woven into a greater story of redemption and grace. When we walk through hardship with faith, others are strengthened, encouraged, and drawn closer to Christ through our endurance.

So don’t lose heart. What God is doing in you—and through you—carries eternal weight.

Prayer:
Father, thank You that my trials are never wasted. When I’m tempted to be discouraged, strengthen my heart and open my eyes to see Your purpose at work. Help me to trust You in every season and to stand firm in faith, knowing You will bring glory out of every difficulty. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Have a wonderful day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
