Happy Wednesday Saints.
1Thessalonians 2:4 “WE ARE NOT TRYING TO PLEASE PEOPLE BUT GOD WHO TESTS OUR HEARTS.”
If you are constantly worried about what others think of you, you’ll always end up doing what they want.
If you are going to live for God, then you should know that there will be others who won’t be pleased with what you do.
Jesus, Peter, Paul, and many others in the Bible who lived to please the Lord, all had people who weren’t happy with their choices and actions.
If you are constantly worried that people won’t approve of your decisions, you will end up making choices to please them.
Paul didn’t want to PLEASE PEOPLE, BUT GOD WHO TESTS OUR HEARTS. Others may not understand your choices when you decide to follow God, and that’s OK because they can’t see what’s inside your heart.
Don’t measure your success by how people respond to your decisions. Don’t measure your success by how others treat you after you obey the Lord. You can’t control how others react when you choose to live for Him. The only thing that you can control is YOURSELF and how closely you walk with God.
Paul wrote in Galatians 1:10, “IF I WERE STILL TRYING TO PLEASE PEOPLE, I WOULD NOT BE A SERVANT OF CHRIST.”
Who will you TRY TO PLEASE today? Live for God and be a faithful servant. May He be pleased with what’s inside your heart.
Have a fabulous day.
God bless, and lots’a love,
