Happy Tuesday Saints.
Ephesians 4:28 “ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN STEALING MUST STEAL NO LONGER, BUT MUST WORK, DOING SOMETHING USEFUL WITH THEIR OWN HANDS, THAT THEY MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO SHARE WITH THOSE IN NEED.”
Our flesh is selfish by nature, and one of the best ways to overcome selfishness is to share what you have with others.
As Christians, we don’t work for a living – we work to give. We understand that the Lord blesses us to be a blessing.
We are the body of Christ, and as the Lord’s hands and feet, He ministers to and provides for those in need THROUGH US.
The Lord doesn’t want us to steal. He wants us to DO SOMETHING USEFUL WITH OUR HANDS – to work an honest job so that we may have something to share.
This life is so much more than what we can accumulate for ourselves, and at the end of it all, no matter how much we may amass, we won’t be able to take any of it with us.
A life spent accumulating things for ourselves is shallow, meaningless and worthless. It misses out on one of life’s greatest pleasures – THE JOY OF GIVING!
Acts 20:35 says, “AND REMEMBER THE WORDS OF THE LORD JESUS, THAT HE SAID, ‘IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE.'”
Generosity isn’t an amount – it’s an attitude of the heart. Live to love, work to give, and enjoy being MORE BLESSED.
Have a great day. God bless, and lots’a love,
Warren
