Happy Tuesday Saints.
Yesterday, we started looking at things that are within our own control. If we are not careful, we can put our personal growth, individual progress, self-improvement, and spiritual development, in the hands of others and at the mercy of outside influences.
While it’s easy to blame others and take no responsibility for the quality of our own lives, this kind of attitude STOPS us from ever moving forward.
Proverbs 25:28 says that “A PERSON WITHOUT SELF CONTROL IS LIKE A CITY WITH BROKEN DOWN WALLS.”
When you don’t take responsibility for your life and ownership of your problems you become like a city with broken down walls. Outside influences come in and govern your actions and determine the course of your life.
So instead of steering the course of your ship in the direction of a promising future, you let negative people, adverse events and unfavourable circumstances, pull you in the opposite direction.
Don’t let anyone or anything inadvertently push you around. It’s time to take control of your life and your future. And one of the first areas that you need to take control of is your thinking.
According to Romans 12:2, your life can be “TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND.”
If you allow yourself to dwell too long on your problems, you’ll never find answers. If you choose to be positive, look for solutions, and think about what you can do to improve – your life will be enriched with more positive outcomes.
Never let anyone else control the direction of your life or negatively influence the parts of your life that are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
When you take responsibility and WIN CONTROL OVER YOURSELF, the walls of self-governance will protect you from the disastrous results of negative outside influences.
Have an awesome day winning control of your life. God bless and lots’a love,
