Happy Monday Saints.
1Thessalonians 5:16-18 “REJOICE ALWAYS, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS FOR YOU.”
There are times when we don’t feel like rejoicing or praying or giving thanks. And yet this passage is telling us to do all three consistently.
How could anyone possibly REJOICE ALWAYS? Are you able to rejoice right now, in the midst of your circumstances, regardless of what you are facing?
The only way that we could possibly rejoice ALWAYS, is if our joy ia not dependent upon our outward circumstances.
The circumstances around us are constantly changing and if our joy is connected to those external factors, then our joy will fluctuate along with them.
If our joy is connected to the Source of all joy, then our relationship with God is what will enable us to REJOICE ALWAYS.
Let HIS JOY be your strength today – and not your circumstances.
