LaVar Ball, CEO and Founder of Big Baller Brand (BBB), also known as the father who trained and developed his NBA Basketball player sons LaMelo and Lonzo Ball, is heading to Samoa for the next leg of The Big BallerVerse Tour.
The tour, in partnership with CGU, is an opportunity for young basketball players to receive training from LaVar Ball, with a chance to be scouted for a trip to the United States for an all-expenses paid basketball experience.
The Big BallerVerse Tour will be stopping in Samoa on its first trip to the Pacific Islands.
The tour will feature training camps run by LaVar Ball and 3-on-3 competitions, giving young players an opportunity to showcase their skills on the court.
“I’m excited to bring The Big BallerVerse Tour to the Pacific Islands,” said LaVar Ball.
“We’ve seen a lot of talent so far and we’re looking for the best players across the whole tour to join us for a oncein-a-lifetime experience in the US.”
The Big Ballerverse Tour has already visited Australia and New Zealand, with the Pacific Islands being the latest stop. The tour has been a huge success, with many young players taking to the courts to show off their skills in front of the basketball great.
The Samoa leg of The Big Ballerverse Tour is set to take place from the 5th – 6th of April.
A press conference will be held at 4.30pm on Tuesday 4th April 2023 at the Orator Hotel in Tanumapua, immediately following the team’s arrival from NZ.
The Tour will kick start on Wednesday at 1pm with an opening ceremony at GYM 2 Tuanaimato, Faleata Sports complex in collaboration with the Samoa Basketball Federation and Southwest Basketball, and the Samoa Basketball community.
