Lakapi Samoa hosted a Ava Ceremony at the STA fale to officially welcome the New Zealand Heartland xv team who are set to play Manuma Samoa in a Two match Series.
The New Zealand Heartland Xv are made up of the best players from across Bunnings Heartland Championship in New Zealand.
Manuma Samoa however consist of a mixture of youth and experienced players across the Samoa Local Rugby Clubs.
One player who is named in the New Zealand xv squad is very well known to the Samoa Rugby Union. Manu Samoa Former Halfback Kahn Fotuali’i who plays for the Horowhenua Kapiti team for the heartland competition is set to put on the black jersey against the Manuma.

The 35 test Manu Samoa International will be eager to play at a place where he is very much familiar with as the New Zealand heartland xv and Manuma Samoa set to play a two game series at Apia Park Stadium.
This will be a great opportunity for local players across the Manuma squad to showcase their talent up against New Zealand’s best players across the provincial Unions in New Zealand.
Manuma Samoa and Nz Heartland xv will play their first match tomorrow 4th of November at Apia Park stadium at 4pm Samoan Time.
They will then play each other once again on Saturday the 8th of November at 4pm.
