“FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.”
Happy Friday Saints!
Yesterday, we saw that having a positive attitude is not the same as having FAITH IN GOD. You don’t have to believe in God to be positive.
Bible HOPE is more than just being hopeful; it is JOYFUL AND CONFIDENT EXPECTATION.
When you have FAITH IN GOD, you are CONFIDENT that He will fulfill His promises. Being fully persuaded, you wait JOYFULLY for the manifestation of what you’re believing for.
In other words, you know in your heart that God will come through, so there is no point worrying.
Some who have relied heavily on a positive attitude to sustain them during difficult times are finding the challenges that accompany Covid-19 particularly testing.
True hope is found IN GOD. Circumstances vary and fluctuate, but God and His Word never change. They can give us a steady confidence that isn’t dependent upon what’s happening around us.
Joyful and confident expectation don’t come from thinking positively – they come from TRUSTING THE LORD.
You can be positive, but if you’re not expecting God to perform His Word in you, through you, and for you, then you’re NOT in faith.
FAITH IS FULL OF HOPE, IT EXPECTS, IT IS CERTAIN. It’s more than a positive attitude – IT’S A CONVICTION! Feed your faith! Get some BIBLE HOPE this weekend.
God bless and lots’a love, Warren
