In John 14:16-17 Jesus said “I WILL ASK THE FATHER, AND HE WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER ADVOCATE TO HELP YOU AND BE WITH YOU FOREVER, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH. THE WORLD CANNOT ACCEPT HIM, BECAUSE IT NEITHER SEES HIM, NOR KNOWS HIM. BUT YOU KNOW HIM, FOR HE LIVES WITH YOU AND WILL BE IN YOU.”
As children of God, we are not alone. The Lord has given us the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Holy Trinity. He is not a force, He is not a thing and He is not an ‘it.’ The Holy Spirit is not just a doctrine to learn, or a subject to be studied but a Person to know.
As the third Person of the God-Head, His guidance in our lives must be revered and honoured.
You can know Him intimately and follow Him closely. His ministry is clearly seen throughout the Bible and He is still available to help you today.
