MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy Friday Saints.
In Matthew 1:21 the angel said to Joseph that Mary “WILL BRING FORTH A SON, AND YOU SHALL CALL HIS NAME JESUS, FOR HE WILL SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS.”
Jesus’ name means “God our Saviour.” Through Jesus, God did what was absolutely impossible for us to do on our own. He provided a way for all of mankind to be saved from the penalty of our sins.
Although Jesus is eternal and has always existed; today we celebrate when He humbled Himself and came to the earth in human form through His miraculous birth.
He gave up all the riches, comforts and glories of heaven to come and save us.
Celebrate Jesus’ birth today and remember why He came in the first place. He came to save YOU!
So the most important things about Christmas are your relationship with God and your relationships with others.
May the love that you have freely received from God, be the love that you give to others on this special day. His love is still the best gift that we can give to those around us.
