Happy Monday Saints.
Last week, we ended with the thought of filling your heart with good treasure so that an awesome life can start flowing from within you.
Jesus said in Matthew 12:35, “A GOOD MAN BRINGS GOOD THINGS OUT OF THE GOOD STORED UP IN HIM, AND AN EVIL MAN BRINGS EVIL THINGS OUT OF THE EVIL STORED UP IN HIM.”
Too many play the blame game. It’s always someone else’s fault that their lives are messed up. They refuse to take responsibility for their circumstances and so they’re often upset or irritated with the people around them.
Good things don’t come to us from the outside, they start from within the heart. Good things don’t come to pass despite what’s in our hearts, they transpire because of what’s in our hearts.
When there is GOOD STORED UP inside us we BRING FORTH GOOD. When there is EVIL STORED UP inside our hearts, we BRING FORTH EVIL.
That’s why long-term change doesn’t come from making physical changes on the surface, it’s achieved from the inside out. Change your heart and you’ll eventually see everything else in your life change too.
3John 1:2 says “THAT YOU MAY PROSPER IN ALL THINGS AND BE IN HEALTH, JUST AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS.”
A prosperous heart abounds with love, life, and good. The good treasure stored up within it produces marvellous results.
It’s time to start performing some spiritual heart surgery and take a look within ourselves to see what we need to remove so that we can start prospering IN ALL THINGS.
May the good that you store up inside your heart bring a lot of good into your life this year.
