Happy Thursday Saints.
Yesterday we looked at the importance of acknowledging God in ALL our ways so that He can guide us along the best paths.
The Hebrew word translated ‘acknowledge’ also means ‘to know and be acquainted with.’
This word is more than just a brief acknowledgement before we do something; it refers to KNOWING GOD.
We could say “IN ALL YOUR WAYS, KNOW HIM AND HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATHS.”
When we know God, have an intimate relationship with Him and walk with Him every day, we learn how He thinks and acts. As we get to know Him more through His written Word, the paths that He wants us to take become more clear.
In John 8:12 Jesus said “I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. HE WHO FOLLOWS ME SHALL NOT WALK IN DARKNESS, BUT HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE.”
You do not have to walk in darkness or confusion. Don’t settle for being in a permanent state of unrest and uncertainty.
Walk closely with God and let Him light the path to a brighter future.
The more you know Him, the more you’ll recognise your need to pray and acknowledge Him in ALL your ways. The more intimate you are with God, the easier it will be to discern His will and His direction for your life.
