ISSUED BY THE SAMOA METEOROLOGY DIVISION AT 5:00 PM MONDAY 11th OCTOBER 2021.
VALID: HEAVY RAIN ADVISORY.
The trough of low pressure lies east whilst the weak convergence zone lies south from the group. These systems may yet to prolong cloudiness and the availability of rainfall activity for tonight into tomorrow. Winds may swerve to prevail from the Northeast and therefore induce possibly heavy falls and thundery activities into later tonight. Therefore; anticipate continuous cloudiness with isolated showers with heavy falls for tonight, moreover; the previously issued Heavy Rain Advisory remains in force for all land areas of Samoa.
Potential Impacts for Samoa:
Heavy downpours with poor visibility, foggy and slippery roads over mountain passes and ranges, pooling near roadsides and waterways.
