The Head of State of Samoa His Highness Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi II, has this morning issued a notice confirming he has been advised by Prime Minister Hon Fiame Naomi Mataafa, to dissolve Parliament following the 34-16 vote against the Budget for 2025-2026.
The Head of State says a formal notice to confirm the dissolution of Parliament under Articles 32(1) and 33(1) of the Constitution.
