God Will Never Leave You Nor Forsake You

Happy Tuesday Saints.

The Greek word translated as “distress” in Romans 8:35 means “narrowness of place.” It refers to not knowing where to turn or what to do for relief. It relates to great anxiety and distress of the mind.

So the Apostle Paul is letting the church know that even great distress cannot “SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST.”

Sometimes, we feel stuck and don’t know what to do next. The stress can be so overwhelming that we can’t see a way out. And when the road ahead seems dark, and we can’t see what’s in front of us, we can feel discouraged, alone and neglected.

You might feel abandoned, but God promises in Hebrews 13:5, “I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.”

Saints, NOTHING can separate you from the love of God. No matter how anxious or distressed you may feel, always know that you are greatly loved. Even when you can’t see a way forward or a way out of your circumstances, God’s love, His presence, and His guidance will help you find a way. Don’t be so discouraged that you lose all hope of overcoming any setbacks.

God is FOR you, not against you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of your faith. Let His love fill your heart with hope.

Have a great day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
