Happy Wednesday Saints.
Psalm 34:17-18 “THE RIGHTEOUS CRY OUT, AND THE LORD HEARS THEM; HE DELIVERS THEM FROM ALL THEIR TROUBLES. THE LORD IS CLOSE TO THE BROKENHEARTED AND SAVES THOSE WHO ARE CRUSHED IN SPIRIT.”
You are not righteous because of anything you’ve done. You are righteous because of Jesus. And because of who you are IN CHRIST, the Lord HEARS you when you cry out to Him.
What a great privilege. You can be confident that God hears you and that He will DELIVER you from ALL your troubles.
The Lord is also CLOSE to the BROKENHEARTED. Sometimes when we feel discouraged or disheartened, we forget that the Lord is near. He can save us when we are CRUSHED IN SPIRIT and feel like giving up.
No matter how you might be feeling, let today’s passage fill your heart with peace. God is near, He is ready to hear you, and He is prepared to help.
Whether your burden is self-imposed or caused by others, God wants to help you. Whether your heartache is the result of your own folly or someone else’s wrong – God wants to save you.
How long you stay disheartened is up to you. Your broken heart may take some time to heal but exactly when your healing begins is your choice.
You have God’s attention. If you need to, cry out to Him today and let Him begin the process of healing any brokenness that you might have.
