God Will Answer When You Cry Out and Pray for Boldness

Happy Thursday Saints.

Psalm 138:3 “IN THE DAY WHEN I CRIED OUT, YOU ANSWERED ME AND MADE ME BOLD WITH STRENGTH IN MY SOUL.”

You can pray for boldness! As we’ve seen throughout the week, King David would cry out to the Lord whenever he was afraid.

When you cry out to God, He will answer and embolden you with strength in your soul.

The Lord wouldn’t require you to do something and not provide you with everything you need to accomplish it. He can meet your spiritual, physical and EMOTIONAL needs.

Don’t charge ahead while you’re afraid – that’s not faith! You can pray for boldness and let God strengthen your soul.

Psalm 27:14 says, “WAIT ON THE LORD, BE OF GOOD COURAGE, AND HE SHALL STRENGTHEN YOUR HEART; WAIT I SAY ON THE LORD.”

Being afraid is not faith. But it is not a permanent emotion either. It’s a feeling that can be overcome by waiting on the Lord or by feeding your heart with His promises. It’s a feeling that can be replaced with faith and courage.

Fear may try to take hold of your emotions, but you can choose to free yourself of its grip.

Courage, like faith, can be developed. And it all comes down to what you fix your mind on. Fear enters our mind and emotions through thoughts. And if we can replace the troubling thoughts with God’s liberating and faithful promises, we will replace our fear with faith.

The solution to fear is quite simple, and how long one remains afraid will be determined by how promptly one turns to God and how quickly one feeds on the promises in the Bible.

It is comforting to know that fear isn’t a permanent feeling and that we can overcome it with the Lord’s help.

Have a fantastic day. God bless, and lots’a love,

Warren
