Happy Wednesday Saints. 1Corinthians 13:3 “IF I GIVE ALL I POSSESS TO THE POOR AND GIVE OVER MY BODY TO HARDSHIP THAT I MAY BOAST, BUT DO NOT HAVE LOVE, I GAIN NOTHING.”
Any giving that isn’t motivated by love isn’t really giving. If we give to impress others rather than to bless them, the Bible tells us that we will gain NOTHING. Any form of giving that is without love is worthless.
Pride should have no place when it comes to generosity. Why we give is far more important than what we give. God who looks at the heart of our giving, isn’t impressed by our outward appearances.
Love must be the beginning, the middle, and the end of all our giving. So the question for all of us who give to others is – WHY? Why do you want to give? Why do you want to bless others? Why do you want to help?
If your answer is LOVE, then God will be pleased and you will be blessed.
Have an awesome day. Lots’a love,
Warren
