The Minister of Finance has advised that the following changes in retail petroleum product prices, inclusive of VAGST, will apply from 1st December 2025:
Petrol: decrease by 5.1 sene per litre, from $2.97 to $2.92.
Diesel: decrease by 0.6 sene per litre, from $3.11 to $3.10.
Kerosene: increase by 1.0 sene per litre, from $2.69 to $2.70.
December retail prices are based on October cargo uplifts from Singapore, delivered into Apia in November.

It has been another month of uncertainty, as prices started with increases over the prior month, then fell as the market weighed a potential global glut, with U.S.-China trade tensions adding to concerns about an economic slowdown and weaker energy demand.

Prices began to recover in late October.
Throughout 2025, multiple factors have impacted crude and refined product prices, including the Ukraine war, the effect of U.S. tariffs, and OPEC+ supply positioning all contributing to moderate volatility in final pricing.
